CEO Jeanne Jackson asked Nic and his team to re-invent the Banana Republic brand via a top to bottom new store design concept. Coined "BR2" these stores were more flexible, more elevated, more merchandise focused, less expensive and faster to build than their predecessors and won praise from famed retail analyst Paco Underhill for their clarity, adaptability and elegance. The flagship location for this project is the Grove at Farmer's market mall in Los Angeles. Nic and his team were responsible for all aspects of this building including exterior and interior design, layout, merchandising concepts, fixtures, detailing, specifications, lighting etc.
