is an architect, founder and president of LINE Inc. Newly based in Los Angeles, Nic has won a series of awards for his retail, residential and fixture designs. His work has been lauded by internationally known retail analyst Paco Underhill and has been published in magazines and newspapers such as The New York Times, House and Garden, Surface, C magazine, Vogue, LA Confidential, Town and Country, the San Francisco Chronicle, and is featured in the book California Interiors. Nic has designed over 250 retail stores around the world for clients including Gap, Banana Republic, Smith & Hawken, Lucky Brand Jeans and Rip Curl. He has designed fixtures and branding material for Dockers, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Foote Cone and Belding. He has also designed homes for Bill and Vanessa Getty, Liane and Richard Weintraub and Daniel Haas. Italian by birth and rearing, Nic has lived in Italy, Australia, the US and France, and travelled to over 50 countries. Receiving his BA and MA from UC Berkleley, where he graduated as valedictorian, Nic also studied at the University of London and the Univeristá della Sapienza in Rome. He has taught as an Associate Professor at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco, and as Professor at the Florence Art Instute in Florence, Italy. Nic also lectures periodically at several colleges and universities. He has worked professionally in France, England, Italy and the US. He is fluent in Italian, English and is conversational in French and Spanish.
Kimberly embodies good taste and is not only an inspiration, but also a prerogative, never letting any of us settle for anything other than 'perfect'. She is a stylist with a broad and exclusive client base, and has worked in the fashion business for over 10 years. She enjoys interior design, prepping and is involved with all projects as a critic, giving essential input especially in colors and fabrics.
Pinky is a critical component of LINE. He is very hard working, always ready to give you the paw. He is a lot of fun, just don't pet him or disturb him if he is trying to have some 'quiet time'. Regarding the flatulence, Pinky says 'it doesn't bother me'.
